Functional Silane Solutions
We manufacture a wide range of functional silane solutions for use across a breadth of manufacturing and industrial processes. Our range includes more than 200 silane products used across many different applications.

Silane Intermediates
Pixon Chemie manufactures silanes that are used as building blocks in the production of other chemicals and materials. These silane intermediates can form a key part of the production process for other materials, with our range including chlorosilanes, alkoxysilanes and alpha-silanes
Different products are used in different manufacturing processes, with some of our chemicals also appearing in the manufacturing of resins, fillers, silicone rubber, silicone oils, paints and sealants.
Chlorosilane Intermediates
We manufacture a large selection of chlorosilanes used as building blocks in industrial manufacturing and chemical production.
Across the range, chlorosilanes are used as intermediates and in applications involving silica, resins, fillers and silicone oil.
Our range includes different versions and grades of chlorosilanes for different manufacturing requirements.
Alkoxysilane Intermediates
We manufacture several alkoxysilane products used as ingredients or building blocks in other chemical processes. Different versions are available depending on the required chemistry, with key applications including chemical intermediates and silicone rubber.
Alpha-Silane Technologies
Appropriate for several manufacturing uses, alpha-silanes are a specialist area of our silane range. Being used in several different industrial products and processes, they can be used for silicone rubber, paint, sealants, adhesion promoters and chemical intermediates.
Alpha-silanes can be relevant to manufacturers of sealants, coatings and silicone products, with adhesion promotion among the applications of the range. We offer a range of different alpha-silane grades based on the needs of the application.
Silane Coupling Agents & Surface Modification
Silane coupling agents are specialist ingredients that are used in formulations that involve different materials. Our range includes several different families of functional silanes for different manufacturing sectors.
The main groups include sulfur silanes, amino silanes, epoxy silanes, vinyl silanes and acyloxy silanes.
Sulfur Silanes
Pixon Chemie manufactures a range of sulfur-containing silanes for several important industrial applications.
Rubber is a key application for Pixon's sulfur silanes, with tyres specifically identified within the range. Other applications include plastics, fibreglass, paints and silicone rubber.
With different sulfur silane chemistries available, we also offer them in different forms. Our range includes standard silanes, silanes mixed with carbon black, pre-dispersed silanes and modified sulfur silanes. This provides manufacturers with a choice of different chemistries and product formats.
Amino Silanes
We manufacture a wide range of amino silanes for use across multiple manufacturing sectors. Used across fibreglass, fillers, foundry, rubber, resins, plastics, adhesives, paint and ink, our range includes a wide variety of amino silane grades.
With some amino silanes being standard individual chemicals, others are mixtures, solutions or complexes, with an appropriate solution for different manufacturing requirements.
Epoxy Silanes
Epoxy silanes are a family of silanes used by manufacturers that create materials such as adhesives, paint and resins. With several epoxy silane grades and chemistries available, our range is used by businesses producing coatings, adhesives, sealants and composite materials.
Vinyl Silanes
We manufacture a range of vinyl silanes used across a variety of industrial manufacturing sectors.
Cable manufacturing is one of the key industrial applications for Pixon Chemie’s vinyl silane range. Other applications include fibreglass, fillers, resins, adhesives, paints and addition-cure silicone rubber.
Our range also includes modified vinyl silanes and vinyl silane complexes, with different grades available.
Acyloxy Silanes
Acyloxy silanes are another group of functional silanes used in manufactured materials. Our range includes several acryloxy and methacryloxy silanes, used in fibreglass, fillers, resins, adhesives, paints and silicone rubber.
With several related chemical grades available, our portfolio includes methoxy, ethoxy and other different versions.
Specialist Functional Silanes
In addition to the aforementioned specialist silanes, our overall silane range extends beyond the main amino, epoxy, vinyl and sulfur products. Our range also includes phenyl silanes, alkyl silanes and isocyanato silanes, each with its own industrial applications.
Phenyl Silanes
We manufacture several phenyl silane products used in resins, silicone rubber, silicone resins and silicone oil applications. We have different variations available that include phenyl silanes, diphenyl silanes and methylphenyl silanes.
Alkyl Silanes
We have a large range of alkyl silanes, with these products appearing across many different applications. With many different alkyl silane grades available, they include different chain lengths and chemical structures.
Industrial applications include fillers, foundry, rubber, resins, adhesives, paints and waterproofing.
Rather than one standard chemical, our range includes many different variations of alkyl silanes.
Isocyanato Silanes
Isocyanato silanes are particularly connected to polymers, adhesives and sealants.
Applications include addition-cure silicone rubber, EVA, POE, hot-melt adhesives, resins, sealants, resin modification, crosslinking, emulsion polymerisation and paints.
Silane Polymers & Oligomers
We manufacture several types of silane polymers and oligomers, including products based on vinyl silanes, amino silanes, epoxy silanes, acyloxy silanes and alkyl silanes.
With applications that include waterborne paint, waterproofing and metal surface treatment, the range includes polymers, solutions and hydrolysates.
Silicone Solutions
Silicones form a dedicated part of Pixon Chemie's industrial chemical portfolio. We manufacture specialist additives, crosslinkers and related technologies for silicone rubber, silicone resins, sealants and other industrial applications.
Silicone Rubber Additives & Crosslinkers
Our silicone range includes specialist chemicals for RTV silicone rubber, silicone resins, sealants, paints and waterproofing applications.
The range also includes fast RTV crosslinkers and adhesion promoters, alongside products for the surface treatment of timber and stone.
Phosphorus-Based Industrial Solutions
Pixon Chemie manufactures phosphorus-based chemicals used in water treatment, manufacturing, metal processing and other industrial processes.
Our phosphorus derivatives have applications across areas including agriculture, catalysis and industrial microbiological control, with the range covering phosphorous acid, phosphites, phosphonates, phosphines, phosphonium salts and industrial biocides.
Phosphorous Acid & Phosphite Salts
We manufacture phosphorous acid in multiple grades, including a general grade and a higher-purity option. The general grade is used for phosphonate production, phosphate synthesis and organophosphorus agrochemical intermediates, while the higher-purity grade is intended for applications with tighter limits on chloride and heavy metals.
Our range also includes agricultural phosphite products such as potassium dihydrogen phosphite for fertiliser use.
Phosphonate Water Treatment Chemicals
Pixon Chemie manufactures chemicals specifically for industrial water treatment, helping to control problems such as scale and corrosion while also supporting chelation requirements. The range includes ATMP and HEDP for applications involving scale control, corrosion inhibition and chelation.
ATMP is one chemistry from the range that is used against calcium carbonate scale. At higher dose rates, ATMP also provides corrosion inhibition. HEDP performs at temperatures up to 250°C, is stable at high pH and is tolerant of chlorine oxidation. It can also be used outside traditional water treatment such as in electronics cleaning.
Organophosphorus Intermediates & Specialty Esters
We manufacture phosphorus-based intermediates for industrial manufacturing, with the range including triphenylphosphine, triethyl phosphonoacetate and triisobutyl phosphate.
We offer different grades of triphenylphosphine, including a higher-purity grade that has tighter limits on things such as oxide content and iron. This provides different grade options for more demanding synthesis applications.
Triisobutyl phosphate has a broad range of industrial uses, including as an antifoaming agent, plasticiser and wetting agent, as well as in concrete admixture applications.
Solvent Extraction Reagents for Hydrometallurgy
We manufacture specialist chemicals used for metal separation and recovery from a mixture. These chemicals are used in hydrometallurgy and process-stream recovery, supporting a range of metal separation and recovery applications. Different products within the range are used for different separation requirements.
PXi 272 is used in the separation of certain heavy rare-earth metals. Stable to heat and hydrolysis, it can separate cobalt and nickel while selectively extracting zinc.
Trialkylphosphines
We manufacture several trialkylphosphines used as ingredients or building blocks in other industrial chemistry. Our range includes tributylphosphine, trihexylphosphine and trioctylphosphine.
They’re used as building blocks in solvent extraction, catalysis and ionic-liquid chemistry.
Phosphonium Salts, Catalysts & Ionic-Liquid Precursors
Our range includes several phosphonium salts used during other chemical processes. The range includes products used as phase-transfer catalysts and ionic-liquid precursors.
There are different chemical structures and product forms available, such as tetrabutylphosphonium bromide, tetrabutylphosphonium chloride and tetrabutylphosphonium hydroxide.
Phosphonium Biocides
We manufacture phosphorus-based chemicals used for microbiological control, helping to manage unwanted organisms such as bacteria, fungi and algae in industrial systems.
Within the range are broad-spectrum microbiocides and algaecides with properties including low foaming and slime removal. Certain chemistries are also suitable across a wide pH range and can withstand high operating temperatures.
Applications include recirculating cooling-water systems, pulp and paper, enhanced oil recovery, fracturing fluids and seawater systems.
Biocidal products must be used in accordance with the product registrations applicable in the country of use.

Rubber & Tyre Manufacturing
Pixon's silane range includes several products for rubber and tyre manufacturing, particularly sulfur silanes. We offer different sulfur silane grades, with some also available mixed with carbon black or pre-dispersed in polymer.
Other Pixon silane families also have rubber applications, with products specifically for silicone rubber. Our range includes chemistry for different rubber-related manufacturing processes.
Adhesives & Sealants
Our silane catalogue includes a broad range of products for adhesive and sealant applications. Relevant chemistry families include amino silanes, epoxy silanes, vinyl silanes, alkyl silanes, acyloxy silanes and isocyanato silanes.
The range includes different chemistries and product types. It includes specialist adhesion promoters, including products for RTV silicone rubber and MS-polymer applications.
